After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:00 am, he will also brief you about your 12 Days safari and you will start your journey to Gulu town in Northern Uganda. You will go through the Luwero, and later have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking; here you will find both black and white rhinos.
This is an interesting drive on a smooth road. Have lunch en-route and proceed to Gulu arriving in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Boma Hotel Gulu.
Breakfast will be served early and embark on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. This is a 3 to 4 hours drive with eye-catching sites along the way including the Mantattas (small grass thatched houses) and the scenic views of the hills which separate the lands of Acholi and Karamoja.
You will also cross some seasonal rivers and arrive Kidepo Valley National Park well in time for Lunch and an evening game drive in the Narus valley. Dinner and overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
Wake up to an energizing breakfast amid tranquil nature and head out for a game drive in the Narus valley-known to possess the largest buffalo herds than anywhere else in the entire world. There are also high chances of spotting big cats on a hunt and on a lucky day; you may spot the rare cheetahs too which are endemic to Kidepo in the whole of Uganda. The Valley is also renowned for mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, zebras and birds. The valley is home to the only permanent source of water – the Narus River and thus a convergence place for a lot of game.
Return to the lodge for lunch and unwind a bit before embarking on a drive to Kidepo valley close to south Sudan boarder to visit the hot springs and you can encounter Ostriches within the region although their numbers are highly threatened by poaching by south Sudanese. Dinner and overnight at lodge as above.
Have breakfast and begin your journey to Murchison falls national park via Gulu, en-route lunch in Gulu town, arriving in the park late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a game drive at the delta and expect to see variety of animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks. After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. You will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater.
You will then hike up to find the falls through Bakers trail and also be able to stand at bakers stone (brings you closer to the bottom of the falls) this hike is a bit tuff but it’s fascinating as you will enjoy to see the falls at different points and finally when you reach at the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike. After spending a good time at the top of the falls, you will meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at as above
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for the morning game drive in search for early risers in the Kasenyi area. The park has diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, rivers, crater lakes, forests, swamps and lakes. These are a home to various types of wildlife (big 4) and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth will reward you with views of animals such as lions, leopards, forest hogs, buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and other types of antelopes.
Return to your Lodge for lunch and after, go for a 2 hours launch / boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This cruise will let you pass through a place of the highest concentration of hippos, crocodiles and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers good platform for photography, bird watching and games. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Waking up so early and set out again for the game drive to see these animals in their distinctive clans, families and groups, this game drive can be taken through the Kasenyi plains looking out for elephants, leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, and various colorful birds.
Later, take a 2 hours drive to Ishasha which is a home to tree-climbing lions. With the help of skilled park rangers you will also such out for these lions and imagine how amazing it is to watch the lions in trees. Thereafter, check in to the lodge and Have lunch at the lodge.

On this day, you begin your journey to Bwindi the habitat of gentle giants Mountain gorillas. This journey will take you through Kigezi highlands and its various terraced hills. Have Lunch enroute, Arrive in bwindi national park check in to your lodge and then later have a guided nature walk, have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge of your choice.

Talk of gentle giants with a 98% DNA close to that of humans, it’s the Mountain gorillas which made Bwindi Forest their home. Also other species like butterflies, plants, primates, mammals, butterflies, frogs, among others are also found here. After briefing at the headquarters, you will be led by the rangers into the jungle to track gorillas. This experience usually takes 1 hour to about 8 hours since gorillas move differently also and only 1 hour is granted to capture your greatest moments with the gorillas.
Just in case some of you are not interested in tracking gorillas, you can go for a short guided forest walk or Village walk to the Batwa community. Retire at the lodge.

Enjoy breakfast and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africas deepest lakes and famous for its beautiful scenery such as the terraced hills and 29 islands in water, it is also safe for swimming since it is Bilharzia free. Its name Bunyonyi means young birds in the local language and hence is a great place for bird watching. Also while here you are in the base that was named by a British’s great diplomat Winston Churchill as the Switzerland of Africa. Upon arrival you could go for canoeing on the lake and have lunch. After lunch take a community walk where you will enjoy traditional dances from the Bakiga people, also buy yourself handicrafts from there.

Early morning after breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo, a small but rich National park seated on an area of 371 sq km. Lake Mburo National Park is home to a big number of Zebras, antelopes, warthogs, reed bucks, oribis and a number of bird species. On your way, you will go through the rolling terraced hills of Kabale, having a stopover in Mbarara for lunch -The land of milk and honey. After, continue reaching the park in the late afternoon. Have a 2 hour boat cruise on the lake and later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.
