Start your day with a tasty breakfast and make sure you carry packed lunch from the lodge, also other materials you might need like cameras, good shoes, drinking water, sun glasses, rain jackets, and a pair of long trousers. Your guide will take you to the information center for briefing where you will meet with other trekkers before you start trekking at 8:00am. After briefing, enter the mighty Bwindi forest as led by the Park rangers, who will take you to where the Gorillas can be located at that time. The activity takes around 2 to 8 hours, this is because these gentle giants migrate and cannot be stationed in one place, and they move basing on the availability of food and water. Also remember that no skill is needed to track gorillas though one needs to be fit enough at least. There is nothing as astonishing and thrilling as watching the silverbacks guard their bases, watch the females feed young ones, play, and grumble at each other among other things, you will take enough photos. After one (1) hour with the giant gorillas, return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the evening walk. In the evening, have a walk in the Batwa community and see how they live. After head back to the lodge and have dinner and overnight stay.
