7 Day Uganda gorilla & wildlife safari to Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth and Bunyonyi

This 7 day safari begins from and ends in Kampala or Entebbe-Uganda; it will take you to the western part of the country that is gifted with various wildlife species and beautiful sceneries. The main destinations in this safari are; Lake Mburo National Park which sits on an area of 371 sq km with a big number of Zebras and other animals such as antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, oribis and others seen along the lake shores like the hippos, crocodiles as well as birds (the park has over 332 bird species).
Also to Queen Elizabeth national park which known for its diverse wildlife species like tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, antelopes, elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, water bucks, and chimpanzees. Also over 600 bird species many of these are seen during the game drives, nature walks and boat cruise. And Lake Bunyonyi for sightseeing,
Our driver guide will meet you in Kampala or Entebbe at 7:00 am and will drive west of the country to Lake Mburo National Park having a stopover at the drum maker’s center called Mpambire and also at the Equator to take photographs. When you reach the park have lunch at the lodge and set out for an evening game drive through the park where you will take a great view on different animals like the Zebras that are found almost everywhere in the park. Later in the evening head to the lodge for dinner and spend an overnight.

after an early breakfast, explore the park’s beauty with a morning game drive in search of animals that can be found like the Zebras, Elands, Impalas, Topis, and Buffaloes.
Later connect to your lodge for lunch before heading for your boat trip on Lake Mburo to explore water animals including crocodiles, hippos and different bird species like Fish Eagle and the rare shoebill stork. Return to your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, drive out of the park to embark to Queen Elizabeth national park, arrive early afternoon and connect for your afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffalos, hippos and crocodiles.
Then connect to your lodge to relax, for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, explore the park’s beauty with a morning game drive in search of animals that can be found like the Buffaloes, Elephants, giraffes, leopards and different Antelope species. After 2-3 hours game drive, drive out of the park to connect Bwindi forest in Kisoro district, have lunch enroute, arrive late afternoon and connect to your lodge to relax, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Have a very early morning breakfast and drive to find the park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by the park warden then connect to the forest to search for the gorillas. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your ranger guide will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Have dinner overnight stay at lodge as above.
Take your breakfast having amazing views from surrounding hills, forests and the beautiful rays of the morning sun. After head out for a canoe ride on the lake which harbors 29 islands and almost every island with a history such as the Punishment Island – enjoy the stories from the guides on this boat ride.
Return to the lodge, have lunch and in the afternoon, take a walk, or hike up the hills to enjoy more spectacular views of forests and lakes, or watch birds, or read a book while relaxing by the lake shores, or swim in the lake which is Bilharzia free and safe for swimming.

Wake up early, have breakfast and proceed for your transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe for 7-8 hours drive, en route, lunch in Mbarara town and Equator. Arrive at either hotel/connect to Entebbe Airport for your evening flight back home.
